The new ASCENDO The12 SUB ACTIVE VENTED subwoofer sets the standard for bass output, low distortion, and affordability. With chest thumping bass that plays deep down the The12 SUB AV subwoofer unleashes cinema level volume, with the ability to convey and articulate the subtle nuances of music.

12″ Woofer: At the heart of the powered subwoofer is a composite cone driver with a very stiff sandwich cone paired with a large throw rubber surround. The The12 SUB AV driver was developed from the ground up, with a design focus on achieving output, accuracy, dynamics, and linearity, while minimizing distortion. Sophisticated computer modeling and measurement techniques are used extensively in the powered subwoofer design process. The woofer is enclosed in a cabinet made from HDF material outfitted with massive internal bracing and dual ports to minimize port turbulence.

600-Watt Amplifier: The 600W RMS amplifier is built around the high efficiency Class D amplifier module based on a proven topology with vast reserves of power for highly accurate, deep bass for your home theater or music system. A Variable crossover with adjustable phase control is used for easy integration with other speakers.

The24 SUB PRO PASSIVE SEALED infrasub is a statement.

Its huge cone surface area and huge 90 mm of linear stroke – represents a world record for cinema subwoofers – allow it to move a gigantic volume of 10 liters of air per stroke to pressurize the room. Due to its ultra-low resonance frequency and its sealed enclosure design the group delay is several times faster than the smaller 18″, 15″ or 12″ subwoofers at the same frequency. Also the acoustic power output per cubic inch is by far in favour of this unique design compared to stacked multiple smaller subwoofers.

Its ingenious design allows the The24 SUB PRO to produce frequencies in the infrasonic frequency range with authority, reaching down lower than subwoofers with a smaller diaphragm surface ever will. At the same time this infrasub renders those notes with much more power, structure and resolution.

The18-2 SUB PRO PASSIVE SEALED SH subwoofer is so far above and beyond the competition in every aspect; refined musicality, tightness, and output levels suitable for a 18″ driver. Combine this exceptional performance with an enclosure only 10,43” deep to accommodate a wider range of applications where larger enclosures just can’t fit, and this model could possibly take the home theater market by storm.

The 18” driver is an advanced carbon rohacell composite sandwich cone. It is coupled with a neodymium motor with 4” Ultra-high-temperature voice coil. With a max SPL of 137dB @100Hz an , the dynamic expression and percussive impact that this sub can deliver puts it in a class by itself, let alone in such a shallow footprint as to almost disappear in home theaters or media rooms when compared to more traditional cube subwoofer designs.

In larger rooms where more output is needed (or just desired), ASCENDO also offers a Dual-18” version of this same enclosure design, with the two woofers stacked – The18-2 SUB PRO PASSIVE SEALED SH.
