URC’s Contact Closure Sensor with 3.5mm plug senses if a dry switch or relay closure is open or closed. The possibilities are endless, but a common example woud be in a high-end home theater application, if the pre-amplifier turns on and it has an audio sensor plugged into it, the URC Total Control system would automatically turn on the amplifiers connected to it.
